Channeling
Crystals which have 7 edges surrouding a primary face
can be used for channeling. They are associated with connecting us with
different energies. They're very effective in quieting 'inner chatter',
making them excellent for meditation. They can also conect us with a spirit
guide - more advanced this! For everyday purposes, they help to unblock
conciousness and focus it.
SUGGESTION: Focus on transpiring
your question, considering it in detail. Change or insight may not come
immediately, but repeat daily and you will be suprised by the results.
Grounding
Crystals with 8 edges, often with two oposite large
faces. They bring us back down to the earth and promote stabilty, common
sense and reason.
SUGGESTION: Hold your crystal
and visualise the earth and your place in it. Imagine energy flowing downwards
from your crystal into the ground. This is amazingly calming for those of
us who live busy and hectic lives.
Twinned or Tantric
Together forever, growing side by side, these are partner crystals relating
to our personal relations. They amplify harmony which can be useful when
facing challenging times in an important relationship.
Windowed
These have a window on one of the edges, it will be diamond in shape and
different to any of the other facets. These stones are so-called as they
are best used for exploring the self - helping us to follow the Oracle's
advice: 'know thyself'. They help us look within ourselves, rooting out
problems which disrupt tranquility. They heighten awareness of enemies.
SUGGESTION: Hold your crystal
in your left hand, consider your situation as realistically as you can.
Begin with the challenges and then move on the the positives. Next visualise
how you would wish things to be. Do this in as much detail as you can. Regulate
your breathing, close your eyes and after the fleeting thoughts have run
their course, you will be guided by the wisdom which is relayed by your
crystal.
Rainbowed
These are great for our aura, re-energising healing. They also help brighten our lives with their beauty. Great meditative work is locked within as they iluminate us. Hold to the light and move slightly to see the rainbow sparkle.
Sceptred
These are equally edged six sided crystal, they are also channeling
crystals.
Sugared
These are covered with dousy, smaller crystals make them appear covered
in sugar. This is normally around the base or partialy round the crystal.
