Meditation with your Brandberg Crystal
The subtle metaphysical energies of Brandberg crystals
are very effective aids to calmness and tranquility. Meditation isn't something
that one learns to do overnight. Some of the Chakra meditations we will outline
are for experienced practioners. If you're new to meditation, try the following
exercise first.
1 Withdraw to a quiet place - somewhere you won't
be interrupted. Allow all daily thoughts to leave your mind.
2 Hold your stone in either hand.
3 Breathe in and out mindfully. You could try using
our peace mantra.
Breathe in through the nose, count to four and say 'peace'
inwardly.
Then, as you expell the air, say 'peace
within' to yourself.
With this deliberate, calming technique the body relaxes, the blood pressure
lowers, heatbeat slows and your mind becomes atuned to your Brandberg.
It's important to mention that your crystal should cleaned
and energised prior to starting to meditate. This helps dispell any
negative energies to which it may have been exposed.
It's also worth remembering that it's a good idea to sit in a postion you
feel comfortable with. Many people find gentle ambient or rythmical music
can be helpful in assisting a meditative state.
